This iron is way too heavy. I do not want to feel like I’m doing a weight training workout when I’m ironing. I didn’t actually use the iron after getting it – once I felt how much it weighed I returned it. It probably works fine, but I want a lighter iron.

This iron is definitely not worth the money. There are too few steam openings and it takes forever to heat up. The optimum temperature is inadequate for ironing linen. I learned my lesson…. buyer beware.

My wife could iron for a living. She irons at least a dozen shirts and skirts a week. She has used both Rowenta and Braun over the past several years, which heat up quickly and give lots of steam. She was not happy with how much steam comes out of this iron. I do not like the detachable water compartment as another moving part is something else that can break on the iron. The cord retrieval assembly at the base keeps it very neat.
